How We Started

With a combined experience of over 50 years, Jeff Kinne and Chris Gerrity established KG Baseball Consulting to assist high school baseball players aiming for collegiate play. Their extensive experience has provided them with numerous contacts that can help players in their journey. Recent changes in NCAA roster and scholarship regulations have made this path more challenging than ever. Recognizing the showcase and camp scene can be daunting for families, their mission is to help players avoid common pitfalls in this intricate process. Jeff Kinne

With 30 years of experience as a college coach including 21 years as the head coach at Hampden-Sydney College, Jeff has the experience, reputation, and countless contacts to guide players through the recruiting process. His journey includes leading H-SC to the 2005 Division III World Series and being recognized as the ODAC Coach of the Year three times, making him the winningest coach in H-SC history. This extensive background equips him with the insights and knowledge necessary to help high school players navigate the competitive landscape of college baseball. He is dedicated to finding the right fit for each student-athlete.

Chris Gerrity

Chris has proudly led RBA West for 22 years, making it the largest baseball academy in the Richmond metro area. A former VCU player, he has earned a reputation as a reliable figure in Central Virginia baseball for more than two decades. His passion for the sport and dedication to nurturing young talent have established RBA West as a vital part of the local baseball community. Additionally, his experience at RBA West supports high school players aspiring to play college baseball, helping them thrive and develop their skills.
